Location: London (SCC operate hybrid working, which comprises of a mix of office and home working)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday – Friday

Role Overview

As a Tech Bar Manager, you’ll lead SCC Tech Bar teams across multiple customer sites, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. You’ll provide line management, mentorship, and governance, oversee scheduling and processes, and act as the primary escalation point for all Tech Bar‑related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor Tech Bar Leads, managing performance development plans and training needs.

  • Oversee team rotas, service processes, and ensure standardisation across sites.

  • Act as the single point of escalation for customers, service desk, and third parties.

  • Build strong customer relationships, attend regular meetings, and produce service reports.

  • Ensure SLA compliance, queue management, and timely resolution of incidents and requests.

  • Drive service improvements, document procedures, and liaise with suppliers and internal teams.

  • Provide cover for peers and participate in on‑call rotas when required.

Person Specification:

  • Proven line management experience, with a track record of developing people and teams.

  • Strong ability to deliver against SLAs while improving efficiency and cost models.

  • Experience managing P&L and recruitment activities.

  • Excellent customer service, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
