Role: AI Business Development Executive
Location: Bracknell (SCC operate hybrid working, which comprises of a mix of office and home working)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary Package: £70,000 - £85,000 plus large company benefits, company car, competitive OTE, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year
Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday – Friday

Role purpose:
Developing and closing new business opportunities within the UK ISV and neo cloud market to achieve set annual gross margin targets. Develop and execute against a new business territory strategy, driving sales from SCCs portfolio of products and services.
Key responsibilities:
- Prospecting and qualifying new business target customers or new revenue lines within the UK ISV and neo cloud market.
- Articulating the customer challenge and creating a joint plan with the Business Units to propose suitable infrastructure solutions for the client.
- Identifying, creating, developing, and campaigning sales opportunities based on customer and market insights.
- Providing campaign leadership and orchestrating virtual internal and external teams on all sales opportunities.
- Maintaining, expanding, and building engagement of vendors and partners within the account base.
- Performing account relationship profiling, development, and creation of an effective engagement plan in SalesHub.
- Building and managing a 'rolling pipeline' of new business opportunities.
- Effectively managing, growing, and maintaining customer relationships at all levels.
- Identifying opportunities and risks to SCC, considering financial imperatives in relation to all sales opportunities.
Skills and experience:

Demonstrable enterprise infrastructure sales experience within the UK ISV or neo cloud market.
- Knowledge of AI workloads and alignment to business outcomes.
- Proven experience of selling AI infrastructure solutions, including experience with NVIDIA, Supermicro, and other leading vendors.
- High level of business and commercial awareness with a proven record of successful negotiation at senior levels.
- Proven track record of incremental new business wins and sustainable growth within previous client engagements.
- Demonstrable experience of creating and executing territory sales strategy.
