Role purpose:
 
SCC leverage several strategic partners to deliver our Cyber Managed Services, including (but not limited to) Microsoft, Tenable, and CrowdStrike. The role of the Cyber Product Architect will help drive our product roadmap and development into workable solutions for our customers. 
The Cyber Product Architect will be responsible for the technical design of our Managed Security Services, working in close collaboration with our Product Management team. They will use their expertise and experience to design solutions and ensure training and guidance are provided throughout the Cyber team, including Pre-Sales, Delivery, and Operations.
 
Key responsibilities:
 
  •  Solution Development
    Support in the development of our Security Baselines that are used to protect our customers 
    Ensure that the appropriate documentation sets are created that detail the Design, Delivery, and Support of the designed solutions
    Ensuring design documentation is accurate and in place for the use by delivery and operational teams, including the Low-Level Design (LLD) templates
 
  • Subject Matter Expert 
    Provide internal guidance and training to SCC Cyber teams, including Pre-Sales, Delivery, and Operations
    Act as the point of technical escalation within the Cyber team for issues impacting service
    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving best practices in the field of cyber security. 



  • Infrastructure Support
    Ensure that the Production and Development tenants used within the Cyber team are maintained and secured against best practice 
    Ensure that internal design and documentation are kept up to date and reviewed on a regular basis
 
  •  Product Development 
    Participate in one or more of our Subject Matter Expert (SME) groups within the Cyber team
    Supporting Product Management teams with the development and execution of our Cyber roadmap
    Work with our Delivery and Operational teams to identify areas for continual improvement
 
Skills and experience:
  • Deep understanding of SIEM and XDR solutions, especially Microsoft and CrowdStrike
  • Good knowledge of Vulnerability Management tools such as Tenable and Microsoft Defender TVM
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organisational and presentation abilities
  • Effective teamwork and cross‑functional collaboration
  • Strong problem‑solving capability
  • Fluent English required
  • Spanish or French beneficial but not essential
  • Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or similar (desirable)
  • 2–5 years’ experience within a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP)
  • Relevant certifications desirable (Microsoft SC‑200/300/401/100; CrowdStrike CCFA/CCIS/CCCS; Tenable Pre‑Sales Engineer/Architect)
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in Cyber Security
  • Must be eligible to obtain required Government or Police security clearances
