Role: IT Field Delivery Engineer

Location: Luton/St Albans area (SCC operate hybrid working, which comprises of a mix of office and home working)

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary Package: Competitive base salary plus large company benefits, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year

Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday – Friday. We also offer the opportunity to benefit from a Core Hours arrangement (role-specific), providing flexibility around your personal needs

Role purpose:
  • To attend customer sites to provide support on IT hardware and software products, within the required Service Level Agreement.
  • To work efficiently and proactively to deliver IT support services to a wide range of customers.  
Key responsibilities:
 
  • To repair, diagnose and replace PC's, laptops, printers, servers, retail equipment and associated peripherals.
  • Achieve KPI target of 5 visits/fixes per day
  • Utilise PDA to check and update allocated calls in a timely manner to achieve required commit time, and reflect actual work done in real time.
  • Be able to provide customer builds and configuration to desk.
Skills and experience:
  • Knowledge and experience of PC, laptop, printer and associated peripherals operation
  • AV experience
  • Good customer service skills
  • Security clearance, or willingness to apply required
  • UK Driving Licence
